The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors met in a work session Saturday to discuss the proposed water pipeline.
Community members weighed in on the combined water authority between Fluvanna and Louisa counties. Fluvanna supervisor Shaun Kenney says the goal is to figure out who is going to provide the county's water, and whether or not taxpayers will bear the expense. Kenney says Saturday's meeting was to help sort things out for both supervisors and the public.
He says the board won't make a decision until it feels it has all of the necessary information, and when the community seems comfortable with one of the options.

At meetings in June 2007 and April 2008, the Board denied his proposal.
